Planet of the Perfectly Awful People
The first girl into outer space, Abbie Anderson of Peach Grove, Pennsylvania, is on her way to Venus as Earth's goodwill ambassador. Suddenly her rocket ship goes off course and she crash-lands on the planet Meanus, home of three perfectly awful people: Lord Groucho, Lady Grumble and Sir Groan. Abbie is imprisoned with another intruder, Zebulon Zook from Mirth. In a literal battle of wits, the two youngsters out-duel their adversaries, who eventually learn that it's more fun to be good-natured than perfectly awful.

You Don't See Me
You Don't See Me tackles the subject of death in the same way children naturally resolve hard issues—through creative play. Stephanie, whose brother has died, finds her way through it by creating a fantasy in which her brother appears, portrayed in mime. He sticks with her and helps her prepare for the science fair until she is ready to accept his loss, begins to feel the grief, and finds renewed confidence in herself to go on living without him. Performed for hundreds of elementary school audiences by ArtReach Touring Theatre, You Don't See Me brings both laughter and tears. It entertains and enlightens—tenderly.
Cast (2M, 2F)
Stephanie Thompson: age 10
Jimmy Thompson: her brother, age 13
Nancy: Stephanie's schoolmate
Allen: Stephanie's schoolmate
Jimmy needs strong miming skills and a strong relationship with Stephanie. A real brother/sister combination would be amazing!
